The paper that came out yesterday said Cachuma for the first tourney and you have Castaic.

Re: trolling motor batteries.......which ones

I have been a user of the Dual Pro Lightening Series 31. They have the highest CCA rating of any 31 series (1500 Amps). They cost $$, but well worth it...have 4 of them in my boat and never have a problem.

There are two ratings for trailer tires...C and D. The standard Goodyear Marathon tire most of us use is a C rated tire. Look on the side wall and you will see the C. If you request them, you can get a Goodyear Marathon D rated tire. If I remember correctly, a C rated tire is 8 ply and the D rated i...

I personally am using the Lightening Series batteries from Dual Pro. I have the 31 series with 1500CCA...the highest in the industry. They are heavier and more $$, but...they last a LONG time. The battery chargers may or may not charge all your batteries depending on how it was set up. I have set it up to be on all batteries. For example, if you have a 24 volt trolling motor system and a dual bank charger, then you will not have the main battery being charged. As a side note, batteries is...

At the local Anglers Marine Bassathon a couple of weeks ago, the big ticket was the Byron Velvick swimbait rods by Rogue Rods.

There are 3 models depending on the size baits you want to throw...796C, 807C and 808C.

Check them out at www.roguerods.com.

What do people use to store the Huddlestone size baits? The rows in the standard boxes are too narrow and cause the bait to bend, etc with the hooks attached.

Thanks.
