I have Verizonwireless with a Motorola phone. You CAN'T hear me now anywhere near Markeley Cove all the way out of the narrows. Signal picks up somewhere between Little lsland and Putah, but is spotty. I've heard Motorolas have poor reception, so you might want to research the phone too.

Re: Berryessa Help
Was out there on Sunday. Call the resort your looking to launch out of before you go there. Spanish flat is apparently closed to launch due to ramp/dock problems. Water is very high. There was some debris but not too bad. Fish were still biting. The narrows is probably a good bet, don't know the cla...

Re: What size batteries do you currently have?
What size are your current battery trays? If you decide to go for group 31, you may need to upsize your battery trays first. Typically, boats come with group 27 size trays which will NOT fit group 29/31. Replacement group 31 trays are available if you decide to go that route. Group 31 will give you ...

I have their swimbait rod and I'm very happy with it. Light, and appears to be very well built. I'd say they're a very good product for a decent price.

I usually slow way down, downsize my baits and line size. Fish a little deeper than where you found them before. As a tournament fisherman, I have found fish prior to a cold front and had to make adjustments on tournament day after a front moves through. Fish often suspend over structure in a negati...

Re: Worm Fishing Poll*NM*
I used to be a worm shaking proponent. But I'm convinced that Carolina rigs will outperform Texas rigged shaking technique year 'round. IMHO: I do not use screw-lock weights for shaking worms, but I DO use it for flipping and pitching plastic in heavy cover. The screwlock offers an additional benefi...

Re: NFR- Skunk 3, Dogs 0! Any ideas???
I'll have to try the Hydrogen Peroxide recipe next time. I killed three skunks in three night about two weeks ago right around my house. The dog got skunked about four times in the past year. Skunks are pretty easy to kill since they're really slow and don't show much fear. They love to dig up the g...

Re: NFR- Skunk 3, Dogs 0! Any ideas???
I had the same problem. I used Simple Green on the dog's fur which got rid of about 90% of the smell. Probably not recommended since it is a harsh degreaser. But it removed most of the smell. Skunk spray is oil based and hard to completely remove. I read somewhere that groomers use Woolite. Tomato j...

Hey Bob,
Check out this site. It gives two day history by each hour. Station is located somewhere about 1000 ft above lake level.

Re: How to fish a finesse worm?
My question to the forum (mainly for those motherload clear water fishermen) is how exactly do you fish a finesse worm?
