I think that is a Jewel's Rampage keelbanger. My buddy has a couple and swears by them. Make alot of racket and he catches fish. Here is a link http://www.lakeforktackle.com/proshopke ... baits.html

Re: Anyone going to venture out this weekend???
Launched out of Orwood this morning 5:15am and no jet ski or other boats. Topwater bite was on. Had six fish in the boat before I even saw another bass boat. I got off the water at 11:00 am and it was already starting to get sloppy and nuts with other boats. By the time I had pulled back into the la...

Anyone doing well in the heat
I have been out a couple times in the past week on the delta and just being bbqed. I am fishing first light till about 11am. That is about all the heat I can take. Topwater has been great when the wind is down. How is anyone else doing?

Re: Best Delta Guide?
I have fished with all three, Barrack, Cooch, and Pringle. They all have their pluses. It depends on your skills, what you want to learn, and how many fish you want to catch, or how big. I would recommend all three for different reasons. They all got me on fish at different times of the year. Barrac...

problems w/ the w.w.hook
Has anyone had problems with hookups with the w.w. hook from reaction innovations. I recently purchased 5 packs of them 2/0 size. They look great but I missed 6 fish in a row. I couldn't get the hook to set. I was throwing wacky senkos and just kept missing fish. I finally took it off and put on wid...

Hotels in Clearlake
I am headed up to Clearlake and was going to do a two day fishing trip. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to stay while trailering a boat, nearby launch, food, etc. I usually launch in Clearlake oaks at the public launch. thanks

Going to lake Tahoe!
I am going to S. Lake tahoe in mid june for a family re-ruin-ion. I always just go to snow ski. If I were to bring my boat what would you guys suggest to a first timer as to where to go, what tackle to bring. Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Orwood
Orwood is the place. I haven't seen it on a holiday yet but Saturday's are a site. My buddy and I pull the boat out around 1pm and grab a beer and unwind watching the fun. I always wondered what the bleachers were for!

Re: Where is everyone heading out to this weekend?
Home....Home....and More Home..... I wouldn't get near a boat launch on the Delta this weekend. The same reason I hate fishing on a Saturday in the summer. Way too many idiots and amatures. Nothing like hooking into a Seadoo with 65# braid. Give barefoot skiing a whole new meaning.

yama lube etc.
Does anyone know the best(least expensive) place to get oil for 2 strokes. Wasn't a big deal before but with gas prices as they are looking to cut costs.

Adams Marine does excellent work. Ask for Lori and she'll take care of everything. Great shop and quick turnaround.

Re: delta spinnerbait question
I like the persuader 1/2 oz white and chartruese double willow most times of the year except right now the Chartruese with colorado blades, moves alot more water when it is so dirty out there.
