Got my answer from Mike at C&C marine. going to stick just running it in the back for now but you can run both from the same lss module and just purchase another side scan transducer.

I called the number and a woman with an british accent answered. I was told that I would have to ship the entire rod back to Powell in order for them to honor the warranty.
