My $.02...nothing new from above. I just recieved my first SB rod and at the urging of my fellow NutCases I went with the Okuma 7'6" Heavy Guide Series. Let me tell you this rod is AWESOME.

I throw lipless cranks baits 80% of the time. I toss the SPRO and Rat-l-Trap models best. Color is what the hatch dictates.

Lipless are so versitile, heck dead of winter on a blue bird sky 29 degree day you can catch BASS with a dead stick and quick pop.

Lipless are my confidence/go-to bait.

Pat, Thanks for the great post. My dad has been under the knife 4 times for skin cancer and 2 were the bad kind.. I also just bought the Neutrogena sun block that covers both harmful UVA and UVB rays, MOST SUNBLOCKS ON COVER UVB. Iâ€™m 36 and have had 2 biopsies already, not fun. Thanks again Pat.
