I fished Englebright last year had had one spot measuring a whopping 8 inches. Found some smallies in the house boat area but I kept getting yelled at by people on boats for fishing too close, so I left. Dont waste the gas.

My $.02...nothing new from above. I just recieved my first SB rod and at the urging of my fellow NutCases I went with the Okuma 7'6" Heavy Guide Series. Let me tell you this rod is AWESOME.

Just so happen to have the Okuma warrenty card in my bag and Okuma will replace the rod for 50% of current estimated MSRP, so around $50.00 plus Okuma wants the rod back with pre-paid return.

I throw lipless cranks baits 80% of the time. I toss the SPRO and Rat-l-Trap models best. Color is what the hatch dictates.
Lipless are so versitile, heck dead of winter on a blue bird sky 29 degree day you can catch BASS with a dead stick and quick pop.

Pat, Thanks for the great post. My dad has been under the knife 4 times for skin cancer and 2 were the bad kind.. I also just bought the Neutrogena sun block that covers both harmful UVA and UVB rays, MOST SUNBLOCKS ON COVER UVB. I’m 36 and have had 2 biopsies already, not fun. Thanks again Pat.
