Yes, the crappie!! Top picture, third one down left row. Caught many bass on that one until the bill broke. I had two of them. Still have the crawdad rolling around somewhere in a box. Did not catch much on that. But the Crappie killed!

Not sure what the problem is with the Trojans. I have run these for a while (5 years and replaced my first set after 3 years) and they have been awesome batteries. They are made to charge and discharge and are not comparable to a house battery that starts the motor and is not drained out like trolli...

I just made the run to Liberty from Discovery park in Vince's FPT tournament last year. It took 55 minutes and that was at a speed of about 60 MPH. I have made the run from Russo's to the same place at Liberty and that was about 25 Minutes at around 65 mph with the 5 at Brannon Island in 3 mile. No ...

It is probably going to be at least an hour and and fifteen to get to Franks. The biggest problem is going to be that this is some of the lowest water we have seen in years. Speaking with a couple of striper and shad guides that fish the river every day and they say discovery park is a mud hole and ...

I have been in a few boats and own a 2000 Ranger 520DVX. All of the boats are pretty good these days but each has its advantages and disadvantages. Most of the boats I know about have been Rangers although I have ridden in Triton, bass cat, and spent a few days in a Skeeter boats as well. The Skeete...

There is no problem. Reverse order is reverse order for a reason. One circuit where participation is up The FPT. Vince is having a large turnout. Fairly local, with close lakes, not large entry fees (considering) and a TOC that does not allow everyone in. You have to "qualify" to make it. Meaning even if you fish all events you are not guaranteed a spot....

What seems to have worked well for me is Braid. I use 10lb braid, 4lb diameter power pro. Then it is either 5# maxima or 6# flouro leader. No swivels, no fancy stuff just a regular drop shot weight. I don't know why people make it so hard but it is really simple. Use the uni knot to make the connect...

I have noticed when punching that the bobber stops will slide up the line. When this happens the weight will twist on the line, wrapping the braid over itself between the nose of the weight and the eye of the hook, and I am guessing, cutting the line. I use at least three bobber stops to keep my wei...

Re: Riddle me this bass fishermen...
Check the hooks to make sure they are sharp
Test the knot
Check your drag
Look behind you
Wait a few minutes for the area to settle down
Think about your first cast and where you want it to go
Cast to the outskirts to not hook one on the first cast
After all this I may never make my first cast.
