bigbass111, since I hope to be in the market soon, I have a question for ya.
When you compared the two units, did you compare the new for 2009 Hummingbird to the HDS? IIRC, Hummingbird improved the product for 2009.
Thanks

First you need to make sure you purchase the correct wire size, each gage of wire has a maximum amp rating you will need to find out what the amp draw is on your motor and purchase the appropriate size. Make sure you purchase marine grade wire, the outer jacket is more suited for marine environment...

Even though they are expensive, I get Huddlestons and Lucky Crafts simple because they catch tons of fish and work tremendously. Haven't really had a chance to throw the injected ones yet. I just ordered up a Okie. I figured it works on a Super Spook so it will work better on the punker

Those seem to be the two biggest companies. Do some research on them. Different ideas behind them. Rhino is 'soft'. LineX is hard. LineX doesn't coat over seams that allow the bed to drain after a rain. They also don't cover the bed mounting bolts. The way I have seen the Rhino applied, they sprayed...

If you aren't pegging it, you are gonna have a hell of a time getting thru the mats. Pegging the weight also seems to keep the bait from getting beat up as much.
