Those of us that have the Phillips bar know how much more solid it is. You basically have to cut the boat to get it out. I would have a Loc R Bar if they didn't exist. I can also relate, before I bought my Champion my partner and I would make that 35 minute run in our 60HP tracker to our water in the south for most every tourny.
