so almost 1 foot,but creeks are all flowing which they never did last year.Most years once the creeks start they dont stop flowing.

LV 500 is a staple here at Clearlake and Berryessa.They start eating it good in August and can catch them through the winter on them.Just slow down as it cools down. They will eat it at a fast retrieve when its warmer.

Drop shot works year round but other presentations are just much more fun.I can go out on Clearlake with 10 rods rigged different and catch fish on each one. Much rather catch them on topwater or even a jig.But when temps drop and bite gets tough its hard to beat a worm.

Launched at 5th street Yesterday. Black mark on longer dock showing where ramp drop off is. Still plenty of room to launch. Parking is another story Only usable ramp and repairs and trenching going on and over half the lot was blocked off.

Indian valley is very low now. Its a fun place when its full. I wont tow a boat back there but have taken the kayak.Used to be one of the best kokanee lakes in Ca. My first bass there was a 6.5

Launched at County park yesterday. Lake is dropping.End of ramp is visible and from power loading there is a rock pile less than 2 feet deep behind it. Hit the skeg with motor half way up.

They are changing regs because of kayak event. If its trailered and trailer goes in water then it should be inspected. If its a car top your fine.
I have 3 kayaks and was on the original screening program as an inspector. Dont plan on getting stickers for any.

All ramps but Lucerne are still open .Some are sketchy. If we dont get rain a lot of ramps will be unusable by summer .I believe 5th street is the deepest .Weather man keeps calling for a 2-5 inch of rain and we get a 1/4 inch. Most of the small creeks dont even have any water in them .

Be careful out there. If you only come up in March just remember that the water that is normally 6-7 foot is now 1-2 foot. The flat by Rodman and also out in front of State park will have people running aground.

Guys it’s not about the tournaments or even the fishing. No one wants to follow stay at home orders. Unintentionally spreading the virus as they drive all over the state. The ramps at Clearlake are full on weekends. Most driving in from out of the area. Surprised they haven’t closed down more lakes....
