Same battery different sticker. Both are copies of Odyssey. I have been running the Northstar products with no issues seems to be a good battery. After some dialog with Odyssey I will be going with them or maybe LiPo's next.

The pure lead thin plate technology was produced by one manufacturer. Now it appears it is two which is Northstar and Enersys which is the parent company of Odyssey. 4-5yrs ago when I spoke to a Northstar rep they said they were producing all of the batteries that were TPPL with the case that all of...

I'm not condoning yelling at someones kids for their actions. Could have been a case of unnecessarily held up at the ramp? I see it all the time at my local ramps people drop their boat in and do not move it to the end or outside of the dock. A little courtesy can prevent many of these issues. Not s...

Many 20-21ft boats run a 52". It has to do with how high the bow sits in the water. If you fish tournaments with both live wells full your bow might sit higher in that situation. If you fish rough water with both wells full with a hull that has a higher freeboard then you should go with a 52. I...

I don't see how a boat driver's license will prevent drunk driving. This is how the cost of living is increased. More regulation and enforcement without any regard for the value and effectiveness.

New ProXs
So what's everyone's opinion of the new four stroke V8 ProXs?
I like spec's and think I could come to terms with the look. My only concern is the reliability since it much more complex then the 3l two stroke it replaces.

True for non-autoinflate PFD's? Also it appears there are some auto-inflates like the Onyx Impulse with a type II rating. "Type V (Inflatable)- In short, this is a manual/inflatable that must be worn to count. Once taken off, these don't count towards your required approved PFDs for each person...

Listen to Kent. The only thing I will add to his post is that the current Trx21 still uses the Tr21xhp hull with a wider deck and it is a phenomenal hull. All fast bass boats chine walk. The reason they are fast is because of the geometry of the pad which the hull rides on at speed. Learning to driv...
