Launched at Sugarloaf this AM. Two lane ramp OK (old highway 99), parking is a disaster, dock is useless.
While my annual Shasta Launch Permit is good there, (good at all public ramps) I can't believe Shasta Rec is charging $20 to launch/park here.

Gear Shift Operation Z19 Pro
At Idle speeds when shifting from forward or reverse into neutral without squeezing the Neutral Lock Bar the motor quits. Of course the bar must be squeezed to shift into gear, but must you squeeze to bar to shift out of gear so as not to shut off the motor?
Any help from other Z19 owners?

A good 4WD could launch off of the point.
Packer Bay is still open, although very narrow. Long walk up the ramp to parking area!

With the lake being 108 feet down and dropping daily most camping and boat launch areas are closed. One option may be camping at Lakeshore East. There is little water in front of the campground now but there is a low water launch about 2 miles south of the campground. Good but narrow ramp, good dock...
