April 23,2022 The BBT Northern Region launched out of Lake Port in Clear Lake CA. With snow on the caps of the mountains this wasn't the spring bite most anglers were looking for, but 80 boats went out looking for the winning fish. The team of Casey Dunn and Clayton Eslick sealed their victory with ...

Hey Michael! I have not fished the Stunna YET, but will give it a shot soon. If you're fishing standard 4-5" jerkbaits, I would look at the hardware first - I like a RED EWG style hook on the chin and black nickle size 4 for the rest. Hyper wire split wrings or even go up a size on your split w...

In the future, my recommendation is to take many pictures, contact DFG along with any suspected tournament orgs and leave the device in place and in tact. When i fish Comanche or Pardee, i would put a towel in my bilge and livewells. I would stop before the turn off to check the bilge blow it out with compressed air and be sure she is clean and dry. yes they can be that bad, even in the rain they are going to check for any standing water.

We are still not aware of what law you are citing. My recommendation is when in doubt ask the local warden or ranger what the law is for that lake. The rules are different by species, region, and body of water. In SoCal you cannot possess live trout so if you catch one you need to bonk it on the hea...

i dont think it's feasible to fish on a pontoon boat without anchoring at either of these fisheries. With the wind and the tide that boat will be like a big sail being pushed around. I'm not saying you couldn't do it in certain spots at certain times, but mainly tucked in a cove on an anchor.
