I heard on the radio that McClureis at 6% capacity!! The town of Don Pedro apparently gets it's water from McClure and if there is no rain they expect to be out of water by 3/1/15 for the town, and they are looking into other sources.

Just to be clear I caught this fish in Sept 2012 and it was actually 13lbs 11oz. My son was going through his SD cards from his go pro and just found it. He didn't know it was there, too bad he didn't have it on during the fight and netting of the fish because it was exciting. The fish pulled hard a...

Last years FPT at Melones in June was I think 106 or 108. It was damned hot and you would drink water all day and never have to pee. The coldest was in Jan 1991 in Detroit Lakes Minn. I got to go out ice fishing and it was -28. We fished out of a shack placed on the ice with a wood stove inside so i...

I was at Pedro last weekend and Fleming ramp is still good. Blue Oaks is narrow and a long way down if you cant turn around at the bottom and may be risky for a larger boat. Don t know about Melonies.

Keep it simple at first, nothing will burn you out faster than spending a lot of time and money and not cacthing a fish or getting any bites. Paddle tails, S waver, Keitechs etc will get you bies and most importantly confidence.

All ramps are $18 dollars to launch, Blue Oaks ramp is almost out of the water, they are recommending not to launch boats over 20 ft from there, there is a self check form for mussels, there are several creeks that have some standing trees that you need to be on the lookout for.
