Subject: Numbers of boaters and non-boaters not equal. Our club, Modesto Castmasters, also has a "draw" format and is currently reviewing the rules and policies regarding "extra" non-boaters. That is, more non-boaters than boaters when the draw is undertaken. How does your club h...

Warning!! Do Not Turn Right Outside Of Marina!!

I made the mistake several weeks ago of turning right outside of the marina at the main channel. Just above the visible bridge there is a rock and boulder salmon barrier wall that spans the entire width of the channel and is not visible at high tide. My prop found it and it cost me $230 in damages. ...

Before I installed a three-bank on my elderly Ranger, I left the two-bank on the trollers and, with a decent stand-alone charger I hook up to the cranking battery and use a 24 hour lamp timer to turn it on for one hour each day, automatically. That way, all batteries are topped off and ready wheneve...

CONGRATS TO STAN PANERO!! TAKES 12.2 FROM DELTA............

As I hear it, Modesto Castmaster Stan Panero landed a 12.2 on Tuesday, July 19. He and his partner had launched out of Paradise and he fooled the beast on a frog.

No mention of location, but I believe that he was not
"disappoint"ed. R - Sonora
