Probably not until the lake cools and turns over will it be "clear" again. Remember, this is "floating" type alge and it's somewhat clear underneath.

Depends on the age of your boat as to warrantee, but most boats will experance this. I think a lot of it is due to the way it's driven in rough water. The pounding the wave puts a lot of stress on them and the longer the boat the more they can be stressed. Slow down in rough water and learn to "...

bolt holes for Minn and MG are same. I'd go with a Minn. 80#

You'll also need a certified weight on the TRAILER only. This is the hardest part. Launch somewhere you can leave the boat or leave someone with it and get an UNLAIDEN CERTIFIED weight at the nearest public scale.

Go somewhere else if you want to fish !!!! The lake is taken over by skiers from May to Sept. It's a 5 mph from 8 pm to 8am, then look out. The lake is a big "bowl" and once the skiers start the wave motion, it never stops until they're off the water. The waves have no flat bank to disapat...

after using sunscreen or loations I wash my hands with rubbing alcohol then with a non sented soap I buy at BassPro Shop in the hunting dept. Then before I handle my baits I rub a SMALL dose of Smelly Jelly on my hands. Seems to work for me. (dont lick yur fingers tho !!!)

It depends on what you are trying to simulate. Double for crawdads and single for bait fish. At least that's the way I do it.

Fantastic lake for large and small mouth, just gotta hit it right. This time of year, throw blades, jerkbaits and senkos. Sounds like you didn't buy a deep cycle battery. Make sure you get a marine or RV deep cycle. I use the Optama Blue tops and can run 2 days without recharging under normal conditions. I've never run out even on a rough windy day. Last set lasted 4 yrs and had warrentee still left on them. You can go...

Can't beat a 6'6'' for accuracy with a blade or tight quarter cranks, and for dock fishing with a spinning rod. That said, the rest of my rods are all 7 or better. Don't think I'll ever get rid of them tho

females should be loading up and staging OUTSIDE bedding flats. Males will be moving in to make beds. I would fish off shore along tule flats in the north and the outsides of docks. You can catch the smaller bucks around docks with senkos or drop shots too. Either way, it's Clear Lake.............ha...

I've tried it both ways and find that if I buy a quality reel with a GOOD drag that back reeling is not necessary. I buy reels based on their drag, not on how many bearings they have. Shamano for both spinning and baitcasting. Some guys are just more comfrotable doing backreeling than others

used a product called Krudd Kutter and a stiff brush. Looked brand new when I was done. Takes a little more time to rinse, but worth the effort. Also, if you have a grease or oil spot, use Dawn dishwashing soap on it. Amazzing !!!!

Use 1/4" aluminum backing plate or you'll be right back in the same fix again. if you go to an aluminum fabricator he will have scrap pieces you can get cheep or maybe even FREE !!!!

sounds like a broken wire that makes contact intermitintly. Mine would do the same thing when the motor was turned one way and then start when it was turned the other way.
