I would launch a your yack in the Keys. Fish Senkos, frogs, spinnerbaits and brushhogs back in there.
You may also consider launching toward Rodmans Slough and fishing back in there, however I do not know how you would get there safley in the yak.

Thanks for the replies. My bite was more like hipsters. Dewanye that is interesting my bites I did have came from real slow presentations. The crank fish bit the bait on the pause, so I continued to bump it and slow it down...sounds like I should have bumped it and sped it up.

Actually from Sac you can go the 5 out to the 12 and fish off the levee wall in whites. Its about a 35 minute drive. Spinner bait and senko walk the levee wall and cast parrell to the tules and the senko in the grass. It is a hoot or you can cut bait for stripers or catfish. Mather is good fun, just...
