Re: Fishing license cost rises

I would almost bet that we would be appalled at where the majority of our license fees are applied, if the ...

Re: First-time boat buyers are in decline, and retention rates are shrinking
The big brands are pricing themselves right out of their market! The majority of the guys who bass fish and would love to keep fishing bass tournaments can no longer afford to buy a new bass boat as they are all moving to a price point that is inconceivable for ninety percent of them! This is why yo...

How dare you throw logic and common sense into the mix? Forty years ago we had one twentieth of the mid valley in crop production due to it being desert and getting very little rainfall to make it profitable. Now we have hundreds of thousands of acres of that we set in production of nuts to which 90...

I started fishing tournaments in the 80's as a Co-Angler and as I built up the confidence I graduated to the front of the boat. Look at the Spiralite line up which run from $99 to $210 and try out the 7'4" MH. You can throw pretty much everything for Whipers or Striped Bass and go out the next day and throw a blade, jig or Senko for Large Mouth. Combine that rod with a Shimano Carado 6.3 and you are within your budget. ...
