I think that Stockton Bass was going to run an event, but the delta is not going to open until next week I though. There is a Anglers Choice event at Oroville...it's no delta, but it's fishn :wink:

I would also check out Randy Pringle. Very cool guy to be on the boat with and also does follow up stuff with you. You get newsletters from him that tell you what is going on at the delta and you can contact him anytime with questions

dark colors for sure if you are fishing jigs or plastics. If you are worming with a weight, try putting a glass bead above your hook and use a brass weight - this will help with the locating of the bait and then the dark color will make it little easier to see. I would replace atleast once per year if you run the delta alot. The merc 150 and 175 opti tends to want to run little hotter than other motors (from what I have been told) which could be an added issue if you tend to pick up debris on the intake area. That's what I thought, they no longer sell the model that I am looking for. They do have a tool that does it, the problem is that when it stretches out that collar, it makes a small slit shape that is hard to get more rubber in if wanted.
