Ive always had the same problem with those baits. And when you get bite with an upside down frog you will never hook it. Thats why my primary frog is the Sumo. It sits *** down, which is how a real frog sits, and its heavier which creates more commotion in the slop.

Depending on how technical you want to be or care to be, rock bass and warmouth are two separate species. Regional slang can confuse which species one is actually talking about, but to my knowledge only the rock bass is regionally referred to as goggle eye.

If Im not mistaken that pic was found when one of Perrys relatives passed away. The pic was confirmed as legit by an investigative reporter. Not sure how long ago all this went down but it was that long ago, relatively speaking.

I dont think color matters much, but Im a big fan of the Kokanee color and the black color. I like throwing them on the G-Loomis 955 and less so on the 956.
