It's obvious what's going on here: http://www.ppic.org/main/mapdetail.asp?i=855 It's about money, plain and simple. Don't believe for one minute that the Delta will be better off with a freakin canal. Like I said before, these people are on a mission, so get ready for some salt-water showers! Enjoy ...

I'd strongly suggest that you use a boca grip or similar tool. Those fishes mouths are slimy and if (when) you loose your grip by lipping them, you will get a hook(s) in the hand!
Or have a net ready.

I towed an 18 foot Ranger with a Ford Explorer and it was a slow death! Plus, I kept up on all maintenance which probably prolonged the sure death of towing, but not by much! Your 520 is a much heavier, and larger, rig than what I had. That vehicle will be overwhelmed by your 520 rig. I don't know h...

In those types of conditions, I really think you should crank the big motor up and stow the TM to keep and maintain control of your boat until the waves pass. Then you can shut down the big motor and drop the TM to resume fishing. Fishing Franks Tract when those water skiers are out there circling a...

Re: Yamamato Sugoi hook, Gamakatsu EWG for Senkos
I prefer the sugoi's because it has a better bend near the eye to keep the bait from sliding down. I also like the way the hook point is bent a little towards the bait/shank for better skin hooking rigging and this helps it being more weedless. I wasn't able to find any gamma's with those 2 characte...

Vince, An option is you can ask to leave your boat at the dealership lot while it is for sale. You can borrow from a bank, tax return, or savings account the amount you think you will get from that sale. When you do sell, then just pay off that "loan". This will free up your garage for the...

I've seen new Revo's on eBay for $87. So, it's going to be more than $20 bucks per reel in price difference, closer to $40.
For $87, heck even for $99, you can't find a better reel! And, outstanding customer support to back them up to boot!

I'd just have a re-seal job done and fill it with lube. It won't be neccessary to have it rebuilt, unless you see large chunks of metal on your drain plug.
