I have a 98 2.7 4x4 and havent had any real problems. The only thing is that i normally fish the motherlode lakes and "have to" use 4 wheel drive "low" to get out smoothly due to the long ramps. Other than that, just the same as others above. I have a 86, 365v ranger, '18'.

I blew through my bearings when the bearing buddy came off. I parked the boat next to my house and cant access the other wheel because the trailer is on jacks. If anyone knows the numbers on the 2 bearings i would really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took the family out and couldnt even get a bite. No excuses for me on this one. McClure kicked my butt, stayed in the damn area since i was having motor problems. I tried alot of different stuff to. They are about two years old. THey are ac delco voyagers. I ran the trolling motor on the lower settings most of the time about 7 hours yeserday and the batterys were pretty low. They were obviously significantly lower in the wind at the end of the day.

Generally, how long should a 24v 71 lb. trolling motor run on "good" batteries? Would obvious drainage be noticed within a few hours? Is 6-7 hours total run time not right(a dying battery or both)? thanks for the replys. They are larger batteries.

I've been in your shoes for years until this year. Finally bought a boat on this site. I'd go to McClure or Eastman personally. Go to Barrets cove. Either at the Marina area or go to the boat dock. Theres some structure between the Marina and the regular boat dock. Mostly right under the camp sites ...

I dont know what they are called. Its supposed to seat when you bring the trim down but it hits that 1/2 inch plate attached to the transom. They are the small guides on the sides, 1/2 inch thick or so. They arent bent. I actually forced the motor down becaue it was hitting that guide pretty hard bu...

I checked page 5 of the fishin reg. book for '07' and it defines a "black bass" as ....largemouth, small mouth, redeye, and spotted bass."
