Re: electronic advise

I have installed a few of the 'Boat in a Box' packages. They are complete as far as MFD/XDCR's go but of course there are the usual consumeables and power considerations. Basically everything is in the box.

I have been using the TotalScan since it was released with very good results. You will be happy with that choice.
No module needed just plug it in to the back of the Gen3 and select it from the list in the installation menu.

Re: Can I run 2 down scanning transducers?

So I'm just a bit confused as Lowrance doesn't make a XDCR with just a side scanning element. If you used the HDI transducer #000-10976-001 on the TM you would still have 83/200 kHz broadband sonar as well as the DownImaging. The footprint of the DownImaging element is not cone shaped like the 2D. I...

Do you have a Gen2? Do you have a Navionics card? Must be Gen2 or 3 and you it is only a Navionics function for a Gen2 unit. So IF you have a Gen2 and a Navionics card, you must turn ON 'Dynamic Tides and Currents thru the menu system. And you must have at least firmware version 2.0-45.135 or later....

You did a good job of narrowing down the source. Now if you can borrow another Ethernet cable to try, you can maybe fix it. If new cable does not remedy the problem, I would think the source would be in one of the Ethernet ports.
