Re: How many Rods for the Delta?
Im usually in the 8-12 rod range when fun fishing or prefishing. I like 3-4 7ft MH rods for the delta at all times. The punchin rod always stays in the boat and is not counted. Braid is for frogs, punching and some top water, everything else gets floro or Big Game.

Anybody can make a T.O.C. if you fish all the events...Thats really going to kill participation in this event. I'm out because I made a ABA toc through the travlers region last year and Im from a pro. Please correct me if Im wrong. This is exactly my point. ABA does not refer to it as pro teams, ju...

So let me see if I understand the "pro" rule. If you have qualified for a team TOC with Anglers Choice you are out? What about a team TOC with ABA or Won Bass? Are those ok? I mean I would hardly call any of those Pro(even though some pro's fish em). I think those are working man circuits....

It tows fine. Not like a full size truck but it works. My main worry is that the boat can dominate the smaller truck. However is yer pulling with an Explorer it will do equally well.

Check out the new Skeet Reese rods. I had a chance to check out his 8ft flippin stik, its very nice. For the price of $90 each you can get 2 or 3 rods for the price of the one. Nice stuff too.

I just stayed at Edgewater last week. They have a swimming pool too, so its great for the family. Dock with power so I never pulled the boat out. The sites are kinda small, and its a bit pricey, but its nice. Its right next to Ferndale Resort in Soda Bay so its close to alot of good fishing.

Actually I do remember an instance at Shasta during a pro am where a guy was DQ'd for just this thing. He wanted to get to a spot first and drove right by us on pad and the pro turned him in and he was DQ'd. His am was upset that his pro did that also.
