What do you do when your prefishing sucks?

Title says it all. I have prefished a local lake twice for my club tournament this weekend. Two trips and only one bite........I have always did pretty well on this body of water but the last two weeks it has been kicking my a$$. What would you guys do?

I have used a couple different rubber nets over the years. They were heavy, but good for crankbait, and ripbait fish. I switched to a KVD net about a year and a half ago....$$$$$$$$ The sweetest net I have ever used. Just my .02

+1 on the DX 784 ML I used mine for the first time today. I had no problem dragging a 1oz. Jig around Hogan. It was my first Extreme, I love all my Champions.......but WOW this rod is sweet.

My youngest son (7 years old) and I hung out at the tank for awhile on Sunday. Bub, then Dobyns, then Ish. Awesome!!!!!!!! The way these three interacted with my 7 year old. Awesome!!!!!!!! The kid wad sporting his Dobyns hat and I had my new DX784ML rod.....so you could say we were both pretty stok...

I have a vast selection of both Dobyns and Powell's as well. I would check out a Dobyns Savvy 663C. I have one paired with a Revo-S and it works good for 1/4oz. darter heads, 1/4oz. jigs, flukes, etc.

The Johnny C Pro Guide Jigs also have a SUPER, SUPER durable paint job....you can cast these jigs down the middle of your street and they come back with the paint still on the head.......AWESOME!!!!!! +1 for the Pro Guide

I have a mixture of Powell and Dobyns Rods and like them both. I did check out the Savy but the handle is about the same length and since I just picked the Powell this year I don't really want to go out and buy another one right now. I will give Powell a call and get there opinion. Thanks folks
