This is one of several reasons that I made QuickDrops not only do they sink perfectly straight so your line is straight, but they also come in 3/4 oz and even 1 ounce; and they are in most our stores and on Tacklewarehouse so they are easily available.

Not sure how to answer your question about why you lost your map since I can't see the screen, but what I have observed with others who had this complaint they were zoomed in so far that the map screen didn't show anything but the map background. When your map showed the wrong location you probably ...

No problem, Mark. I was able to update about 8 units for others, so having the chip there came in handy. That is great you were able to do it so you will have the confidence you can perform future updates.
Hopefully any issue you had will now be resolved. I will catch you the next time.

Mark, if you don't want to wait until November to update, try this: First of all, I am assuming you have an HDS Gen 1 since you are trying to download 4.1. Otherwise you would need to download a different software (like 3.0 for Gen2 or Gen2 Touch). When you download the file from the website, it wil...

So if I understand correctly, your HDS 7 is now reading the engine data correctly? Agree with the others; ultimately the problem is that you are not getting enough voltage to the bow. Usually this is from a bad starting battery, but if your starting battery is fine then look for bad wiring, corrosion, poor connections, etc. When buying a starting battery, make sure it has enough c...
