I recommend you purchase them from Boca bearings, they have a website. They have all the bearings you need for you're reel at a very good price. I purchase Citicas and replace all the spool bearings and could not buy a better reel imo.

Re: Z118 or 188vx..
I would really like to stay in the small boat range, for storage purposes. I would not mind a 200 but I think a 150-175 would be a little cheaper to run ( if I am mistaken let me know) I just don't need a 70mph boat. I will be taking young nephews, wife etc on the boat. I have rode in a 519 Ranger a...

Correct, bluegill are lumped in as "finned" fish which finned fish are legal.. Usually fish like trout and salmon in my local rivers are illegal to use and everything else is fair game.

It looks to me the Z118 has a little more "bling factor" over the 188.. I am just a weekend fisherman and not really the tournament kind of guy. I am looking for a boat I will not have to replace for quite sometime. That's why I chose to go with a Ranger. What are the main differences betw...

Re: bluegill for live bait
I am pretty sure it's illegal on most if not all lakes in ca. I know of other rivers and other waterways it is legal like mentioned above, you must catch the bluegill within the same water you intend to use it without traporting the fish over land. You need a specific license to transport fish.. Con...

If you're just missing an eye, this stuff will happen with all rods. not really a big deal unless you let it bug you. Some regulations can vary from district to district and water to water. Best to check them yourself for the areas you intend to fish. Baitfish restrictions, methods of take etc. :D With that being said, you can also contact a local tackle shop (if any) of the area and ask them. They might be better...

Get them from Bocabearings. They are number one in bearings they make them for high RPM rc cars and airplanes and such.
Like stated before get Abec5 bearings sevens are made for extremley high RPM. Just overkills for the reel.
