Re: Rip Off of the Year award goes to....ZOOM!

Ditto Larry, we could use some more Gino's in this sport....class act for sure, and I too was fortunate enough to call him "friend". As far as Robo goes they are now the standard, and the fact the names were not even changed I have to wonder? Who's pouring these new worms? Could it be Rob...

I was catching up on all the opinions and info on the forum tonight, and caught the thread on the Zoom worm. You are correct that lure companies copy the successful baits of other companies. I could go into lots of details about this, but that isn't the purpose of this post. I worked with and fishe...

I hear ya. However who came first was it magic worm or roboworm. All I used to buy was magic products until they took a dump. However I still bought brushhogs and lizards by zoom. In my opinion all bait companies copy each other in some way shape or form. look at the biffle jig. A true angler always ...

Personally I like Fiberglass. I use Irod stone cold square bill glass/graphite composite. Sensitive as heck! As for deep divers if you want a rod similar to the old school fiberglass i suggest the david fritts edition Lews rods.

Haha yeah there should be! Especially when you steal just to be an ***. It's super old there is a ton of wear to the seams. Theres no way someone stole it with the intention to sell. It wouldn't be worth m. ore then $50 bucks. Im saving to get a boat this just threw a wrench into my process.

Stick to generic shad colors and trash fish going bigger on swimsuits in the delta is some serious dedication tho. I have only thrown small ones and have only until recently only my second trip out throwing a specific one in a generic shad pattern had a taker. Good luck tho dude!
