Re: TROLLING MOTOR BATTERY PROBLEMS!! PLEASE HELP!!

A battery dealer told me that each time you let a battery run down to dead, and then recharge it, you lose 50% of it's capacity. I don't know if that's accurate, but it seems like it wouldn't take long to have no capacity at all. I upgraded to Optima blue tops, which are spiral wraps and require no ...

Re: If you find one please let me know

John, Our club has used both the plastic basket, and a designated weigh-in bag. We found the bag does settle the fish faster, and there is less chance of one flipping out during the transfer. We put the bag back on the scale and zero each time, to compensate for any water that might remain from the ...

If you go to Daiwa.com they have a button on the left side of their top banner for warranty.

Bassbones, I didn't think you're a PETA'r for a minute. I was just venting. Frustrating when you have a small minority terrorizing the decent majority. Like in the '50's, with Joe McCarthy and his Senate commitee. The problem with PETA people is that they're so emotionally involved they can't be obj...

Bassbones, It's kind of screwed, but, in real life, we all have to make choices sometimes that we're forced into. The lesser of two evils. Like that movie, Sophie's Choice. At least as far as PETA people are concerned. Don't get me wrong. I don't mistreat people or animals. I do eat other living things. I kill them first. I think they call it projection, when people put their own motives and reactions onto someone else's actions. In this case, they feel pain, so they assume fish do, too. If it's just that they don't want to "hurt" any of Mother Nature's creations, remind them that she also made the coffee b...

Use a fan to blow them away from you, and NEVER pour in the house. The garage or tool shed is okay, but be sure to have good ventilation. Lead fumes are bad news, especially for kids and pregnant women.

Try the Kipawa prop. It's make with a really tough plastic, I don't know what, that stands up to gravel, brush, tullies, whatever. Jonathan, One thing I've noticed about flouro over the three years I've been using it is that it transmits strikes on a slack line, like when I'm letting a jig or Ika just sit, or dead sticking a Senko.
