Re: I hear Diamond Valley Lake is opening
Trump would not approve of the illegal jetskiers. Trump would put up an impenetrable buoy line and make the jet skiers pay for it. Clinton would probably approve of the illegal jetskiers until she gets elected and ignores them because she allows the far right liberals to make it illegal to st...

Re: I hear Diamond Valley Lake is opening
$30 is expensive, but worth it when you consider all the rif-raf that they keep off the lake. I'll pay the extra $10 vs. Perris just to not have to deal with the illegal jet skiers doing donuts around me in the no wake zones.

Re: I hear Diamond Valley Lake is opening
I heard the lake was filling up also and I wanted to know more. So, I called the marina and the girl that answered said that the lake has come up a foot, but that it still has twenty feet to go. She also said that the water district hasn't set a date for opening. I hope she is wrong and it opens soo...

Re: Boat wax
The Peregrine 250 has cleaners in it that are great if you frequent a dirtier water place, but the cleaners will cause more scratching over time than a product like BTS that has no cleaners. I use BTS because I live in SoCal with mostly clean water. BTS is not a wax and it also has superior protecti...

I have a 2008 Optimax 200 hp engine and I have used Stabil Marine since the beginning. I haven't had any fuel issues or plug fouling, but recently my hole shot didn't seem to be a fast as when the boat was new. Quickleen fixed the hole shot in one tank. Re: MARINE OIL PRICES
I think most everyone can agree that we are getting ripped off big time. I don't use a lot of oil in my Optimax, but I feel like a four stroke could still be cost effective for my next boat because of the price of oil that you constantly have to put in a two stroke. I try to get my Opti oil in bulk ...

I've got the same PFD and I have never trusted it. There are too many stories of similar things happening. I made the switch back to a non-inflatable vest because I have young children. I use the more comfortable inflatable vest for night tournaments where we can only go idle speed.

Re: Underwater Viewpoint: Fluorocarbon vs. Braid for Heavy Cover in Clear Water
What this video shows is that humans can see braided line underwater better than they can see Fluorocarbon. Doesn't mean the bass see it the same way. Largemouth bass have terrible vision. Their eyes are placed so that depth-perception is nearly impossible. Think about all the baits that you can ca...

The fish are already conditioned to it on some lakes because people have been "not so secretly" throwing it everywhere. A lot of the field has them tied on during night tournaments.

You can make it perform better with lighter baits 3/8-1/2 by using braid backing to lose some of the rotational weight of the spool. The spool is still a little heavy to cast these baits as well as a standard sized reel, but it will work. The handle has one bearing and one bushing on each knob. Repl...
