If its the blade type I think you're talking about they're fairly common . They are just a very , very, wide willow leaf blade .
I just saw some at "Fisherman's warehouse " in Sacramento and I think Stamina or Barlows still carry them .

I think this amounts to a backdoor means of gun control . Because sporting arms are legal for the purpose of hunting it would be hard to restrict them due to the popularity of the sport . the clicking you're hearing is the raise and lower relays under the engine cowling picking up/dropping out when you operate the trim switch(s) . open you're pump(s) up and make sure you dont have a stick or something jamming up the impeller. if impeller is clear make sure both spin freely by hand . If hard to turn could be bad seal that let water get to motor windings........
