Re: 2 LSS Transducers

Which model HDS 8's do you have? Are your HDS units networked with ethernet? Are you running any transducers on your trolling motor now (older 2D)? You should be able to add an LSS-2 and box for the trolling motor and plug in directly to you bow HDS unit and yes you would have DI.. There are several...

They should be fine in checked baggage. But not carry on. I have taken chartreuse worm dye and Mend-it before in my checked bag. The Bang should be OK since they allow hair spray in checked bags.

At my indoor storage they plug in my boat for charging. I use a 24 hr mechanical timer and it runs a few hours each day to provide maintenance charge and keep down the costs. Don't use an electronic timer it will reset if power is interrupted.

Re: Drying out a bass boat

You say a fan is not an option. I assume that is because you don't have electricity? You can get battery operated RV/Camping fans. Stick it in the boat with some D-Cells in it. It will run on low for probably 24 hours. Then shut off with dead batteries. Next trip throw in some more D-Cells.

The pilots are briefed in detail about sensitive environmental areas. Sadly it is a loss benefit risk analysis. If the fire is not stopped the damage to the environment is extreme. Including massive erosion, run off and mud slides which enter the drainages causing severe damage to the water ways. Re...

Regarding reels. It's a TSA thing. Unless things have changed. You can carry on reels with line going down. But for the return trip Mexican TSA will not allow line on the carry on. So you either strip them or put them in your check bag going home. Make sure you take extra line in your checked bags i...

Bass have a protective slime layer. When we handle them, throw them on carpet in our boats, or throw them in the dirt the protective slime comes off and they are severely distressed with a high potential to die when released. Additionally the dry dirt dehydrates them. Hold them by the lip. Unhook th...

If you on the trolling motor fishing along the channel and a large ship gesso by pay attention. Not only will the wake throw you up on a tule bern high and dry but when the they pass the water pulls out and empties shallow area and flats. Again high and dry until the water floods back in.
