The old Ranger group introduced a new aluminum and fiberglass boat called Vexus, check those.
Xpress make a step aluminum hull X Pro that is top quality, all the others are basically the same.

Re: Braid to mono knot on a spinning reel
Spectra is a trade name of Honeywell who supplies nearly everyone making braid today. Finns uses a polyuerathane coating that helps to keep it round. 8 carriers vs 4 carriers also helps but tends to increase diameter. I don't know if you remember the late Val White at Action Tackle, he introduced me...

Re: Braid to mono knot on a spinning reel
When I fish the Delta it's the only chance to use braid for heavy cover so for me it's jigs and frogs. Everything else I used my standard SoCal mono or FC outfits. Don't fish off shore big game tuna or Marlin anymore where braid for line capacity with 100' long top shot mono or FC, not really a lead...

It's really hard to beat a premium monofilament line, Nylon or copolymer. Nylon blended with Nylon is considered mono these days and another grade or another polymer like polyuerathane is considered copolymer, all are monofilament lines. Fluorocarbon or 100% fluorocarbon is also a monofilament line ...

Trimming up after on plane shouldn't push the bow down, it should lift it up. Check the torque tab if you feel pulling to one side, it should be about 15 degrees towards the drive side, opposite the torque pull. Sounds to me like the engine is too high, prop shaft center line should be 3 1/2" b...
