good stuff. We need a good sonar chart for Lake Hodges. The default Lowarance, Insight Genesis map has just an outline. My Western Region Navionics Map doesn't have anything either. Guess Ricky S. needs to get out there and chart away.

Gotta agree with you Tarpon. WB is very tame and sanitized. I can't even mention how I caught fish using ****** baits with ******* 65lb braid loaded on a ******** reel all perfectly balanced on a ********** flipping rod when fishing from my awesome ********* bassboat with a ********** engine. :-)

This is not something I have dealt with before. I would recommend you call Lowrance Customer Care and they may have experience with this issue. Since you have the current software update, you could try to do a soft reset to see if this would reset the unit to run smoothly. If this does not correct ...

Having issues with this unit at the screen mapping seems to refresh every 3-5 minutes as if it were having to redraw the entire map. This process takes about 1 minute to complete. For example: Unit has map zoomed out to say... 10 miles, North up, and then while driving, the screen blanks, and redraw...

Guys, if you want to fish this lake, there are still tickets available on Ticketmaster for May. Come and get it. If you are familiar with this lake, it's a private body of water that has restricted access for most of the year. This equates to some awesome 50-100 fish days on nearly anything you throw.
