Re: ripping out the deck....ideas
I did a deck replacement on my sons Tracker. We replaced the plywood. Used exterior plywood and then used multiple coats of marine spar varnish to seal it (make sure you get the edges). We upgraded the carpet to 20 oz. and used exterior deck carpet glue that we got at Home Depot.l Reinforced the bat...

Re: Ultimate Bass Round Table Question Contest ....Win Tix
BASS has banned the multi-lure rigs from the Classic and Elite series. It covers variety of multi-lure rigs, spreaders, drop-shot with a jig, but is obviously targeting the Alabama Rig. Will the other tournament trails follow suit and is the rig detrimental to the fisheries? Should DFG consider a ba...

Michael, I recently added two of these reels to my setups. I like the profile of the reel and they are very smooth. I just loaded them with braid and will be trying them for the first time on my next trip out. They are a great price point and seem well made. We'll see!

I am in the process of changing all spinning reels to braid with leaders. Just match the leader to the application. Gives you more versatility. Going to give the new Power Pro Super Slick Braid a try. I can't figure out which color will be less visible in the foothill lakes. Timber Brown or Aqua Green. Timber Brown looks good for muddy water but the Aqua green almost looks fluroscent. Neither looks particularly low-vis. Any suggestions??

If you have a two stroke that meets the standard take a copy of the law with you. Some of the private launch ramps don't understand the law and believe no two strokes at all. So you may have to educate them.

Wayne, Great idea. Something I have noticed with all the new changes you have a color icon on each forum/sub forum. It might be a good idea to turn that into a hot button just like the words. It would add some functionality to them. Just a thought.
Thanks for all the improvements.

The CHP doesn't make the laws. Our legislators do! If you don't like the law then work to get it changed. The officers work for a boss. The boss says go out and do something they have to do it, or else. Just like everybody else they answer to someone. So if you think 55 is stupid write your legislat...

Scott, You need to look at the charging rate of the panels and remember that is at the peak. They typically charge less in the morning peaking at mid-late day and tapering off till dusk, they are very directional and shade on any part of the cell will reduce the charge rate by at least 50%.
