Piss poor decision
I believe Scott S. made a piss poor decision by not cancelling the event BOTH times. As a tournament director, it is his responsibility to enforce rules and laws, right or wrong. The best fix was to cancel the event and reschedule. The fishermen would understand. Suppose someone would have gotten hu...

I was set up and I took the bait, hook, line, & sinker. Then he fed me about 20 yds. of line and just set the hook. I was gut hooked. It came from a guy I worked with for 19 years and he claims it was just one of about a hundred he owes me. He is probably right. But, I'm going to skin his Italia...

Here I thought you were a nice quiet gentleman who minded his own business, ate the neighbors cats and tried to keep every fish you could catch. A guy can't go out of town to get his as* kicked in a tourney where 48LBS. is 13th place and then gets dog piled on and can't defend himself while out of town. Re: Rigging A Frogg??? The Dobyn's way???
I always tie directly to the hook. I use 65lb. PowerPro. The 80lb. is a little stiffer and won't "walk" the frog as well. The 50lb. works very well and I have never busted it, but I'm more confident in the 65lb. I tie a double palomar straight to the hook. I use only the 4/0 Gamakatsu doub...
