Likely the reason why you are starting to see above average sized bass being caught from this fishery!

Lucerne Ramp
Went out this AM! The depth inside the launching area is approximately a foot deep. Using a trolling motor to exit while angled w/o being fully extended will only be possible a few more weeks. Was approximately two feet deep last week. Time to pull out your airboats!

Send Me a DM @pelagicprincesses on IG. We’ve been on the water two times a week the last month. The fishing is improving! I’ll send you some some screenshots of google earth community holes and techniques that will ensure fish. Clear Lake is silly when the fishing is good. Other times it can be a gr...

Wednesday, the Clear Lake Oaks ramp had a sign warning of low water levels. All ramps are functional but should be used with caution!

Re: Lucerne launch ramp Clearlake
Father in law said they just opened it up this weekend. I would launch somewhere else.. the launch ramp was sketch in the Fall when the water was much higher. If you do launch, I’d recommend using your trolling motor unless you are planning on replacing your impeller anyways.... hahaha

Re: Fishing etiquette
The etiquette at clear lake is top notch! Yesterday, a dude in a brand new xpress aluminum boat nonchalantly rolls 50 feet in front of the bow as we are fishing a fence line and damn near puts a hole in his tin can due to the fence that connects the Aurora RV pilings. (Slightly below water level) Th...

Re: Clear Lake Ramps
Lucerne was sketchy in the fall if you were using your main motor. Has been closed for months. I don’t anticipate it opening. Even better opportunity for the county to dredge, as sediments layers have built inside Marina. Had heard funds were allocated but the project never materialized. Good ole La...

Re: Clear Lake Water Level | USGS | Rumsey Gauge
If the hitch can spawn in the Nice Marina, then they'll surely resort to sloughs such as Rodman and other inlets with a trickle of water.

NO BUENO, Lucerne Ramp is toast. More importantly, NICE marina pre spawn giants will have to look for hitch in Rodman and other creeks.

I’m having Bryan from Waterworks Marine in Marysville work on my 1982 Mercury. Funny, because Lyle Gossett from Clear Lake told me the motor was toasts as two cylinders had no spark and low compression. After a few YouTube videos I was able to get spark after changing the switch box and replacing st...

There are quite a few points that scream BIG FISH with fish suspended 100 feet in very deep water, 300. Take a look at Google Earth! Watch Cody Meyer’s videos on YouTube on how to target Suspended fish with a wacky ocho or senko. For action, get a purple ROBO worm and drop shot in 15-30 feet! Tons o...

Lyle’s Marine Engine Repair (Lakeport)

Called Lyle and Dropped off a project boat with an 82 Mercury for him to go through. Sadly, after multiple calls every few weeks of calls inquiring about progre...

Sounds like BBT is experiencing fewer mortalities than other tournaments. What gives? Maybe stricter oversight and better infrastructure? NewJen had 12 times that number and WON was just as high.

How to keep NewJen off Clear Lake… #toosoon?

Huge number of fish died that day! Billy from WONmade proper adjustments to the infrastructure of the weigh i...

Pull the organizers ability to submit future permits due to lousy tournament infrastructure and polices and they’ll definitely start properly managing the fishery. 50 boats with 20 dead fish at weigh in. Wouldn’t surprise me if another 50 were found floating in the AM! NewJen maybe time for a differ...

Restoring Bass boats! Old Hulls?
Anyone have any old bass boat hulls they’d want to get rid of? We have a few Outboards we’d like to put to use. Been having too much fun restoring these little boats: Carpet, wet sanding, upholstery, and a little tune up and we are good to go! Hit me up! Chris 9259227522

Cody Meyer’s YouTube videos on this fishery give a great insight on how to attack this lake! Fishing points and often throwing into deep water may assist ...

Bullards Bar over the weekend 7.89 LBR
Took the family to Bullards Sat AM. Fished the points from 7-9:30 in 50-90 feet of water. Lost many shakeyheads so decided to Drop Shot Robo Worms. Ended up hooking one that decided to pull drag. Ended up landing a 7.89 LBR after a brief scare from the wifey’s netting skills! Hahaha Another large fi...
