I have also had problems with USPS. 2 of the last 3 time rods were damaged. Here is an example: Tube shows up with a tire print. Local postal agent had the nerve to say it wasn't packed well. Remember, when talking about which rod is better, the answers you get will be completely subjective. Having used both the 705CB Glass & the 705CBMF Glass, I prefer the 'fast' action rod. Keep in mind that even though it is listed as a fast action that rating is relative. Perhaps it should be lis...

Tried the 5:1 reels & am now back to all reels being 7:1. I really didn't like the 5:1 when fishing crankbaits with the current.

I found it easier to slow down than to speed up.

As noted above, with cranks you have to be disciplined or you can turn the handle too fast.

Yes :D Just gotta find out what the fish want. Sometimes it is long glides with occasional pauses. When it moves again, they hit it. Jerkbaits work really well. Also a fish trap, or a top hook osprey swimbait. On jerkbaits (Lucky Craft Pointer, Rapala XRap) consider putting stronger hooks on.
