I just got the new Shimano Citica (119.00) which is basicly the replacement for the old Curado. It is a sweet, SWEET reel, and if it is like all the other Shimanos I have ownd it will ast forever.

Camped there this summer and I did ok in the two and a half hour I fished. Caught 6 smallies and a largmouth, nothing big but they are in there. The fishsniffer did an article on it a couple of years back which talked about the unmolested bass fishery there.

E-Tec would be the way I would go if they end up making them in the smaller sizes. I f I had the money I would put an 90 E-Tec on my boat right now they are about the same size a comperable 50 Hp Four strokes. I just wrote a review of both Castaic swimbaits and the Hudd on clafishing.com, but the short answer is that the Hudd is more realistic in its paint job, profile and action. Other baits work, and work well, but I have not seen a more NATURAL looking bait than the Hudd.

The rod I bought is for large topwaters and ripbaits. It has a comparable action to the okuma XH swimbait rod except it is 7'6. Yes the harbor is the one off 5 in the pocket area, and it is loaded with fish. I did not think that local laws could preempt the state constitution.

My buddy fished the Delta and the Motherload AC Semi-Pro this year and he loved them. He is stoked that he is fishing against only 30-40 teams for a Bass Cat at the TOC. Best odds out there to win a boat.

Anglers Choice Semi-Pro may also be an option, if you qualify. $120 + options per team per event, its a semi pro so you are not fishing against as stiff of competition as their regular tourneys, and if you qualify for the TOC you get to fish for a boat. But let me get this right. As a co-angler I han only win a Ranger if I already own a Ranger? Didn''t the co-anglers win a boat regardless last year? Yet the entry fee is the same and the rest of the pay out is the same.

I have never had a problem with AT&T/Cingular. I get service at Folsom, the Delta, Oroville, Pedro, Melones I even had service camping up at sugar pine res. (in the midle of the lake)
