Re: Tackle Warehouse hack
I also had two of my debit/credit cards hacked that I originally had used to purchase items from tackle warehouse. Both cards had charges attempted on them and both cards needed to be replaced. I also don’t understand why it took so long to notify people. Hopefully TW increases their cybersecurity s...

Re: Deep cranking with a Dobyns Swimbait rod?
Ideal recommendation for a 6xd rod would be a 765cb Champion or an 805cb Champion series. Too bad Dobyns doesn’t make those in the Fury or Kaden series. Gonna be outta your budget price range though. Other option is a fury 795sb Swimbait rod or the Fred 803 rod you were talking about. The Fred rod i...

I have a 2014 Z520c and it comes stock with an 8” jackplate. Pretty sure that is the correct size. I run 8 foot blades and get no splash back from my pole brackets. If you are getting splash back, my guess is that your power pole brackets are mounted too low.

I found a really good crankbait rod in the Dobyns lineup is the Kaden 735CB. It is a great squarebill rod and handles both small and large cranks pretty well. Also it’s in the mid range price point so it’s not too expensive.

The last time they did that it really disturbed the tidal flow patterns around Franks. The Old River cut off the main river became a funnel, and really tore up the tule islands. Definitely don’t need a dedicated swimbait rod for 3/8 oz heads. Lots of rods will work for this and there will be a lot of person preference involved. What is your current jig rod? Maybe pick up another one of those and have two of the same rod. I use a dobyns champion 764c for medium swimbaits 6”...
