Sedona 1000 Retrieve

I’m getting some pretty good resistance during retrieval. Line is not frayed, twisted, etc. It is definitely in the reel itself as I’m starting to hear some noise now when it’s happening. Half of my retrieval it does this, then it will just stop and the reel works great. Sometimes it will be great-resistance-great. Has anyone had this problem? What’s the fix? This is for a Sedona 1000 (if you didn’t see the title). Thanks for any help provided.
