Spokane Bass Club Newman Lake Night Tournament

Post by ttb31183 »

Our annual night event was again held on Newman Lake. The tournament hours were 7pm to 7am, making it a marathon event and allowing anglers to fish the evening, night and morning bite. The fishing was good with nice largemouth and smallmouth brought to the scales. This was also the first event with the new side pot for big bass of both species, as voted on by the members at the last meeting. This will apply for lakes with both species for all events going forward.

Taking first for the second month in a row was Nik Autrey. He weighed in a limit weighing 18.11lbs and had the big bass of the tournament at 4.85lbs. He won $285 for first plus an extra $95 for big largemouth. He did most of his damage by fishing a spinnerbait.
