Lake wohlford contour map?
Lake wohlford contour map?
Hello, new to the forum. I'm originally from HB, orange county and grew up surfing and skating. But moved to Pennsylvania for work where I got into bass fishing. I'm back out west for a month on a surf trip but plan on doing some bass fishing at wohlford and dixon when surf is flat or blown out. Dixon is on navionics Web app but wohlford is not. Anyone know if there is contour map of wohlford online or for sale anywhere? Thanks for help! Great forum by the way.

Re: Lake wohlford contour map?
Greetings,
My name is Ricky Shabazz and I am a marine specialist for Navionics. I have actually fished Wohlford. Unfortunately there is no real data for the lake because of its size. You can build your own map for the lake by using a wifi enabled electronics and pairing it with the Navioncis app to do sonarcharts live. We do not get a lot of requests for Wohlford but if we do I would gladly go down to the lake and map it.

Ok, thanks anyway.

USGS topo maps are available and made when the dam was constructed. I recall Wohlford dam is Valley Center topo map survey, 3' elevation. Go online and research.

Did they start allowing private boats on Wohlford again?

The web site notes that private boat launching isn't allowed due to quagga mussels.DarWise wrote:Did they start allowing private boats on Wohlford again?
