I want to upgrade the electronics on my ranger. I can only go HDS 7 in both the front and console and still be flush mounted. What are some of your opinions on using the ram mounts on both front and console to get bigger screens? Pro's vs Cons. How do they travel on freeway and rough water?

I have my HDS 9 at the console on a RAM mount and the one on the bow on a Johnny Ray mount. No problems with movement on the highway. The lake is more choppy and I'm moving just as fast on the water as off. No movement at all. Once I moved up to larger units I did opt for a Shock Guard so it kind of rests on top of the gunnel. No way for it to move. See a description here:
