Head Case / Screwed Up Bullet Head

Post by 95340 »

Is anyone aware of a product that would be the same, or similar in nature to the Paycheck Baits Head Case or Reaction Innovations Screwed Up Bullet Head ? Both the mentioned products seem to be extinct but it would stand to reason there has to be other models out there. Any help would be appreciated !

Bass Pro shops makes some as does Cabelas. I have made my own in the past with small solder or copper wire. I use them occasionally when putting on the back of senkos or IKA's but for the most part I put a peg on my flip bait and adjust the distance from the weight to the bait. Pegging is much easier on the plastics and more versatile.

Thank you Ash and Scott for your replies. The Gambler clear weightless ones seem to be close to the Reaction Innovation / Paycheck models and are exactly what I was looking for and, should work fine. TackleWarehouse is where I get 99.9% of my gear from so I will grab some with my next order. Thanks again guys.....I read both of your guys posts frequently, and appreciate that you share your knowledge and experience.

Ah cool, I didn't realize you were looking for hollow screw-ins - interesting I've always used a small weight that screws in, but this makes sense for grassy areas where you don't want to encumber the ROF. Happy Fishing!
