Trolling motor transducer

Post by RA8R55 »

Hey folks need some help deciding which transducer to mount on my trolling motor. I currently have the lowrance elite 7ti in my console and just acquired another elite 7ti that I want to mount to my bow. Any advice which transducer would do the best for my trolling motor?

I'm not sure how to equate this to model numbers of transducers, but it's been my experience that the puck style does not mark as well as the skimmer model.

If you check on the Lowrance forum I think you will find the answer, good guys there that helped me with the same problem, I have a 7 touch and it may be about the same as your elite uses a 000-10976- 001 Xducer.

I have same set up you need the lowrance hdi transducer 200/83 455/800. Khz and a. 7 to 9 pin adapter for your trolling motor remember you get chirp sonar on the ti models by turning off sidescan using down image and 2d are chirp capable also you should get a nema 200k starter kit so any waypoints u make go to both units if any other questions call lowrance mon thru friday good luck
