Lake Berryessa boat inspections?

Post by Kyle46N »

What, if any, boat inspections exist for Lake Berryessa? I'm googling it, and have found some old info on mussel inspections, but nothing current. Should I expect some sort of inspection if I were to put in Capell Cove ramp next week? If so, what are they looking for? Thanks!

I've never seen them set up at Capell before 8am. It's a quick check. They'll have you pull to the right and do a visual check of the boat. I've only had my wells checked once. They ask the typical where you reside and last place launched.

Boat inspections on lakes are a pathetic joke!
Let's hope, the boaters are responsible to clean out their vessels coming from contaminated lakes.

Only exception to inspection, East Bay and Santa Clara lakes.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure I don't need to check in someplace, etc. Sounds like I can head to the ramp, get checked if they are there, if not, go fishing.
