150 EFI value???

Post by 338reddog »

I have been thinking about a new used boat or a motor upgrade. I have a 95 Ranger 461VS with a EFI 150. If I upgrade to a 175 pro XS , any idea what my 150 should bring? Im not sure of hours but when I did a compression test my numbers were all the same but one was 3lbs diffrent. Im not sure but I think around 110 area. But it was a year and a half ago. Maybe im better to run it until its done, then get a new motor.

Its value will depend on the year and hours of the motor. Has the motor have had any rebuilded parts such as a blown piston or anything in that category? These will be a few questions that can help determine its value.

Compression looks good. I would say between $2000-$2500.
