This coming Saturday, the Coors Light Future Pro tour will roll into Lake Camanche, for the third event of the 2018 season, dubbed the “Foothill Run” to give northern California anglers a fantastic opportunity to explore a reservoir that has made an incredible rebound from the stifling effects of nearly 10 years of low-water conditions.
Evidence of the lake’s health and recovery, was made remarkably clear in last year’s Camanche event (held on virtually the same weekend), where Nevada Bretz and Joey Verna captured their first Coors Light Future Pro Tour title with a massive 25 pounds five-fish limit, and it took over 16 pounds just to finish in the top twenty!

Prediction?
With the lake currently sitting at 91% of capacity, and weather predicted to be in the mid 80’s all week long, we could very well see a Camanche “top water bite” explosion of magnum proportions!
