Mk trolling motor repair

Hey everyone

Is there any mobile minn Kota repair mechanics? I was out today and my trolling motor started acting weird then stopped working all together. I would push the button and nothing would happen then I would push the button a couple times and it would work. I checked all my plugs they seem to be good. Any advice on mechanics would be awesome

It’s probably the reed switch under the foot pedal button. Needs a slight adjustment. Do a search on Reed switch. I believe there’s a you tube video as well. Simple adjustment should do it if the switch isn’t bad.

I had same problem was push button switch super easy fix bought a new switch on amazon for super cheaper under 10 bucks took me all 10 minutes to fix. I’m not a mechanic or anything but just sounds like same issue I had.
