Spinning rod/reel found at Berryessa

Post by Double Bogey »

Hooked it with a jig. Hasn’t been there too long, reel might need some work. PM me if it’s yours. Tell me what it is and where it was and we’ll get it back to you.

Found him. Ha. Ended up being someone I’ve known for years. I actually thought of him when I saw the set up the rod had. I bet this rod has caught more fish than I will ever catch!! Glad I posted.

I had no idea it was his. He contacted me when he saw the post. It was a great set up, not $700, but it was a Powell. Many will say stupid but I do believe in karma. I’ll post pics of my new PB this spring. Haha. Good fishing to all. Enjoy this weather.

Yes you do have some good ju ju comin' your way Double Bogey! Good things happen to good people. Couple years ago I lost a Loomis GLX with a Shimano Sustain spinning reel in the south fork of Folsom lake, over $700 setup, but I never even thought of lookin' or posting here. Made somebody's day, not mine, I was depressed ;) ...
